William P. Skarupa

William P. “Bill” Skarupa Sr., 79, of McDonald, died Friday, March 22, 2013.
He was born June 13, 1933 in Imperial a son of Stephen and Cecelia (Maga) Skarupa Sr..
Mr. Skarupa was a West Allegheny High School graduate and served in the United States Army.
He worked for J&L Steel in Aliquippa for 30 years where he retired in 1984. He also worked as a part time McDonald policeman for 20 years.
Mr. Skarupa was a lifetime member of the NRA and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
On August 25, 1955 he married Mary Gensler, who survives.
Also Surviving are a son, William P. “Bill” (Judi) Skarupa Jr. of Oakdale; two daughters, Diane K. Barley of Pittsburgh and Patricia A. (Jon) Cable of McDonald; a brother Stephen Skarupa Jr. of McDonald; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Deceased is a sister Velma Slota.
Family will receive friends on Monday, March 25, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8pm at Nation Funeral Home Inc. 220 E. Lincoln Ave. where services will be held Tuesday March 26, 2013 at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in Robinson Run Cemetery, McDonald. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 15120 Chicago, IL. 60693.
