William "Bill" Kulak

December 22, 1932 — September 4, 2015

William “Bill” Kulak, 82, of McDonald, died, Friday, September 4, 2015.

He was born December 22, 1932 in Oakdale; a son of the late John and Mary Buydasz Kulak.

Mr. Kulak was a graduate of McDonald High School and Waynesburg College. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He then went to work as a Chemist for U.S. Steel in Monroeville, where he retired in 1997.

He was a member of St. Alphonsus R.C. Church in McDonald. He loved bowling and watching the Steelers and Pirates.

Surviving are two sisters Caroline (JacK) Sulanowski and Mary (Dave) Hemke both of McDonald; two brothers, Theodore “Ted” Kulak and Frank (Jenny) Kulak both of McDonald; many nieces and nephews and a few great nieces and nephews.

Deceased are three brothers, Thomas, John and Walter Kulak.

Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Nation Funeral Home Inc., 220 E. Lincoln Ave., McDonald. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Alphonsus R.C. Church, McDonald. Interment will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery, Noblestown.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Alphonsus R.C. Church, 219 W. Lincoln Ave., McDonald, PA 15057 or to the Parkinson Foundation of Western Pennsylvania, 3468 Babcock Blvd., Pittsburgh, PA 15237.
