Walter H. Gibson

Walter H. Gibson, 83, of Bulger died Tuesday, February 22, 2022 in Heritage Valley of Beaver.

He was born March 12, 1938 in McDonald; a son of Anthony and Helen (Hook) Gibson.

Mr. Gibson was a millwright with J&L Steel in Aliquippa where he retired from in 2000.

He enjoyed polka music, fishing, hunting and reading. He liked building jigsaw puzzles and playing cards at the Sturgeon Belgium Club. His favorite thing to do was spending time with his family.

On September 15, 1961, he married Shirley Marie Partin, who survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Helen Gibson of Weirton, WV and Jannell (Ralph) Rance of McDonald; a sister, Darlene Chase of Burgettstown; and two grandchildren, Danielle and Jonathan Rance.

Deceased are a sister, Pauline Tropeck and a brother, Anthony “Toto” Gibson.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and from 6 to 8 pm Thursday at Nation Funeral Home, Inc., 220 E. Lincoln Ave., McDonald where a Blessing service will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, February 25, 2022. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, the American Diabetes Association or to a charity of one’s choice.
