Thomas Edward Cauchie, 65, of McDonald, died Friday January 30, 2015.
He was born April 16, 1949 in Canonsburg, a son of the late Edward Nestor and Hilda Ilene (Felton) Cauchie.
Mr. Cauchie was a member of the American Legion in McDonald, a lifetime member of the NRA and loved animals.
Mr. Cauchie was a graduate of Canon McMillan High School, served in the United States Army, was employed by Bruce plastics in Crafton for 10 years and was currently working for AAA as a service technician.
Surviving is a son, David Hartzell of New Castle; a brother, Timothy ( Jeanne) Cauchie of Mt Lebanon; three sisters, Edy Rene (Ken) Magel of NC, Melanie (Al) Gerstel of Coraopolis and Bonnie Robbins of McDonald; one granddaughter, Kacie Hartzell.
Friends will be received Tuesday, February 3, 2015 from 4-8 p.m. the time of services at Nation Funeral Home Inc. 220 E. Lincoln Ave. McDonald. The family suggests memorials be made to the Humane Society of Western PA, 1101 Western Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15233.
