Suzanne “Sue” Powell

Suzanne “Sue “ Powell, age 66, of Southview, passed on Thursday, February 3, 2022, from complications of Covid-19.

She was born September 14, 1955 in Canonsburg; a daughter of the late John and Anita Martinek Turk.

Suzanne was a graduate of canon McMillian High School class of 1973.

On October 5, 1974, she married Mike Powell, who survives.

Suzanne enjoyed walking, riding motorcycles with her husband, going to Myrtle Beach and swimming in her pool.

Surviving in addition to her husband are four children, Chris Powell of Southview, Jamie (Luke) Powell of Cecil Twp.; Mandy Powell of Henrico, VA, and Katie (George Jr.) Miller of New Stanton; a brother, Randy (Barb) Turk of Washington, and a grandson, George Miller III.

Family will receive friends on Friday, February 11, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8PM at Nation Funeral Home Inc. 220 E. Lincoln Ave McDonald, PA. 15057; where services will take place on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 11:00AM. Interment will follow in Mt Prospect Cemetery, Hickory, PA.
