Suzanne (Devos) Faingnaert

March 9, 1964 — May 24, 2021

Suzanne Faingnaert, 57, of McDonald died tragically on Monday, May 24, 2021 at her daughter’s home.

She was born March 9, 1964 in Washington; the daughter of the late Donald and Margaret (Martin) DeVos.

Mrs. Faingnaert was a graduate of Ft. Cherry High School, Class of 1982. She was a dental surgical assistant for Elevated Oral and Implant Surgery in Upper St. Clair. She also had worked for the Port Authority and had worked as a bus driver for South Fayette School District for 15 years.

She loved cooking, baking, photography, and shoe shopping. She enjoyed traveling out west and to the Rockies. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.

On March 28, 2004, she married John Faingnaert, who survives.

Also surviving are three daughters, Meaghan (Collin) Griffith of Burgettstown, Jessica Faingnaert of Hickory and Elizabeth Faingnaert of Imperial; a brother, Michael DeVos of Brookline; and four grandchildren, Jillian Sheldon, Jimmy Garove, Deacon Straffon and Jack Griffith.

Deceased is her daughter, Christina Garove.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Nation Funeral Home, Inc., 220 E. Lincoln Ave., McDonald, where services will be held privately on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 with Rev. Ben Robinson, pastor of Midway Baptist Church, officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to McDonald Meals on Wheels, 202 W. Lincoln Ave. McDonald, PA. 15057.
