Susan Michaele Randour

June 17, 1942 — December 16, 2016

Susan Michaele Randour of Conneaut Lake, PA, formerly of McDonald, passed away unexpectedly on December 16, 2016 in Meadville Medical Center.

She was born June 17, 1942 in Johnstown, PA, a daughter of Dr. George L. and Elizabeth M. (Meredith) Randour.

Miss Randour was a graduate of Fort Cherry High School (1960) and a graduate of Villanova University. She taught school for over 30 years in the Fort Cherry School District.

She enjoyed reading, playing cards, and spending time with her family. She spent all of her summers since early childhood at Conneaut Lake, PA hence she decided to retire to her beloved lake community. She established new friends, reconnected with old friends, and spent quality time with family, totally enjoying her retirement.

She is survived by two sisters, Judith A. Murdock of Capitola, CA and Genevieve R. (James) Goodge of McDonald; and a brother, Dr. David L. (Jackie) Randour of Jupiter, FL and Conneaut Lake, PA.

Aunt Sue was very special to her one nephew Dr. James L. (Adele) Goodge of McDonald and to her eight nieces, Tammy McBride of Capitola, CA, Jody Bruner of Capitola, CA, Theresa (Jack) Murdock-Kennon of Santa Cruz, CA, Jennifer Murdock of Capitola, CA, Esther (Jonathan) Catandella of Milford, CT, Dr. Meredith (Garrett) Broberg of University Heights, OH, Johanna (Matthew) Kirstein of Jersey City, NJ and Theresa Goodge of Greentree, PA.

She was especially fond of her grand nieces and nephews, Candice, Alexandra, Victoria, Maura, Jack K., Lars, Oliver, Jack C., Tyler, Ben; and one great grandnephew, Mason.

Friends will be received from 4 – 8 p.m. Wednesday, at Nation Funeral Home, Inc., 220 E. Lincoln Ave., McDonald. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 22, 2016 at St. Alphonsus R.C. Church, McDonald with Rev. Ben Vaghetto, celebrant. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Moon Township. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Conneaut Lake Library, 145 N. 2nd St., Conneaut Lake, PA 16316.
