Stanley Voloskie

Stanley A. Voloskie, age 89, of Sturgeon, passed on Tuesday, August 29, 2023.

He was born December 3, 1933 in Sturgeon; a son of Stanley and Marie Reinstadtler Voloskie.

Mr. Voloskie was a graduate of West Allegheny High School. He then went on and served in the United States Army. He then became a truck driver. He last drove for Dravo Trucking in Pittsburgh, where he retired in 1980.

On April 6, 1956 he married the love of his life, and who traveled with him while serving in the Army, Margie V. Ganoe, who passed on July 28, 2015.

Stanley and his wife loved to travel. His most memorable trip with his wife was to Paris, France. They were always together and he missed her very much.

Surviving are two nephews, George (Jodi) Voloskie and Todd Voloskie, both of Sturgeon; a niece, Tracey Fountain of Carnegie; two sister in-laws, Betty Salmon of McDonald and JoAnn Voloskie of Sturgeon; six great nieces and nephews, Ryan, Jenny, George Jr, Todd Sr, Scotty and Meadow Voloskie and Stanley’s loving caregiver, Judith Darnley-Sperry of McDonald.

Deceased is a brother George Voloskie Sr.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-8PM at Graff-Nation Funeral and Cremation Service LLC. 220 E. Lincoln Ave. McDonald, PA. 15057; where services will take place Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at 11:00AM. He will then be laid to rest beside his wife in Robinson Run Cemetery McDonald, PA.
