Shirley Rae Favand

Shirley Rae Favand, 76, of Oakdale, N. Fayette Twp., went to be with her Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, March 7, 2015.
She was born March 8, 1938 in Sewickley, a daughter of Allen and Ramond Tibon.
Mrs. Favand was a member of Clinton U.P. Church. She was a school teacher for West Allegheny school district for 30 years before retiring in 1990. She enjoyed square dancing and baking pies.
On June 11, 1960, she married Jules Favand, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Kenneth A. (Beth) Favand of Clinton; a daughter, Laura R. (Leonard) Favand Winiarski of Rineyville KY; a sister, Carol L. Pattison of Clinton; and two grandchildren, Daniel and Kelly Favand.
Family will receive friends Sunday, March 15, 2015 from 12-3 and 5-8 p.m. at Nation Funeral Home Inc., 220 E. Lincoln Ave., McDonald, where services will be held Monday, March 16, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township. Memorial contributions are suggested to Noblestown United Presbyterian Church, 7427 Noblestown Rd., Oakdale, PA 15071.
