Sharon Lee Turner, 66, of McDonald, died Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at her home.

She was born November 12, 1948 in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Luther and MaeBelle (Hackley) Turner.

Ms. Turner worked as a mail handler at the California Avenue branch of the United States Post Office in Pittsburgh from 1992 until her retirement in 2013. Prior to that, she worked as an accountant for Westinghouse.

She was a simple woman and enjoyed playing darts and camping. She was an avid fan of both the Steelers and Pitt Panthers football.

Surviving are a sister, Sondra Turner of Pittsburgh; a nephew, Justin Wade of Pittsburgh; and a niece, Sydnee Turner Wilson of Marietta, GA.

Deceased is a sister, JoAnne Wade.

Friends will be received from 2 – 4 and from 6 – 8 p.m. Monday at Nation Funeral Home, Inc., 220 E. Lincoln Ave., McDonald, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 27, 2015 with Rev. Barry Givner, pastor of First Baptist Church, McDonald, officiating.
