Sandra Louise (Wolff) Shephard

Sandra Louise Shephard (Wolff), of Hickory, passed away on Monday, August 1, 2022.

She was born in Leonardtown, MD; a daughter of Judson O. and Louise Simon Wolff.

She was a beloved and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. She will be greatly missed but her memory will live on through every family get together, ski trip, bike ride and vacation… all built on the foundations she started.

She enjoyed traveling, reading, watching movies, listening to music and attending concerts. She especially enjoyed talking and spending time with friends and family.

Sandy was employed for more than 30 years as a Legal Secretary in downtown Pittsburgh where she first worked on land acquisition transactions that led to her discovery and love for Hilton Head, SC.

On May 2, 1970 she married, L. Alan Shephard who survives.

Cherished mother, of the late Eric (Karen) Shephard of N. Fayette Twp., Keith (Laura) Shephard of Upper St. Clair, Samantha (Jeffrey) O’Donoghue of Canonsburg, and Judson (Megan) Shephard of N. Huntington; beloved sister of, Patricia Sechan of Portersville, Orion Wolff of Peters Twp., and Marsha Christoffel of Chicago; loving mema of  Brittney (Lane) Murphy, Holly Shephard, Scott (Beth) Parry, Hannah and Jack Shephard, Maura, Liam and Carson O’Donoghue, Aidan and Grace Shephard;  great-mema of two and an aunt to many nieces and nephews.

A service to celebrate her life will take place Saturday, August 13, 2022 at 11:00AM in the Hickory United Presbyterian Church, EPC. 210 Main St. Hickory, PA 15340.
