Samuel D. Yeager Sr., 52, of McDonald, died, Friday January 31, 2014.
He was born September 13, 1961 in Portland, OR, a son of the late Earl C. and Betty J. (Hayden) Yeager.
Mr. Yeager was a Journeyman Machinist for Cannon Tool in Canonsburg for 24 years.
He was a member of the Muse Italian Club. He coached Hickory girl’s softball and enjoyed singing and playing the guitar.
On September 25, 1993 he married Jeannina “Nina” Liggitt who survives.
Also Surviving are a son, Samuel D. (Melinda) Yeager Jr. of McDonald; two daughters, Shelby Yeager of McDonald and Erica Yeager of MD; a sister, Debra Yeager of Washington; four brothers, Michael and William Yeager of TX, Greg Yeager of MS and Donald Yeager of Washington; three grandchildren Ava, Violet and Zach Yeager.
Family will receive friends Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, the time of service at Nation Funeral Home Inc . 220 E. Lincoln Ave, McDonald. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society. 331 S. Main St. Washington PA 15301.
