Rose Marie (Taborski) Araneicka

February 12, 1930 — April 25, 2016

Rose Marie Araneicka, 86, of McDonald died Monday, April 25, 2016 at Manor Care of McMurray.

She was born February 12, 1930 in Michigan, the daughter of the late Henry and Mildred (Kozesnik) Taborski.

Mrs. Araneicka was a 1947 graduate of McDonald High School.

She worked as an operator for the former Bell Telephone for 10 years.

Mrs. Araneicka enjoyed cooking, making clothes, gardening and traveling. She also was an avid reader and loved to learn.

On July 27, 1950, she married Stanley Araneicka, who survives.

Also surviving, are a son, David S. (Vickie) Araneicka of Gibsonia; a daughter, Cheryl L. Araneicka of Aliquippa; three brothers, Henry (Ange) Taborski, James Taborski, and Edmond (Rita) Taborski, all of McDonald.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Nation Funeral Home, Inc., 220 E. Lincoln Ave., McDonald, where services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 29, 2016. Burial will follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Alzheimer's Association, 1100 Liberty Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15222.
