Roberta Anne (Sager) Langer

Roberta Anne “Bobbie” Langer, 73 of McDonald, died Saturday, September 20, 2014 in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.
She was born February 26, 1941 in McDonald, a daughter of Harry and Mary (Hulyk) Sager.
Mrs. Langer was a member of the last graduating class of Cecil High School in 1959, and was a homemaker most of her life.
She was a member of McDonald Presbyterian Church, where she served as an Elder, a Deacon, and a Sunday School Teacher and was a member of the Presbyterian Women. She was an artist as well as an avid cook, baker and gardener.
Surviving are two daughters, Kathy S. Langer of Akron, OH and Judy L. Langer of Pittsburgh; a step-father, John N.T. “Tish” Walker of McDonald; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a sister, Sandra M. Nicholas and a brother, Bryant D. Sager.
Friends will be received from 2 – 4 and from 6 – 8 p.m. Tuesday at Nation Funeral Home, Inc., 220 E. Lincoln Ave., McDonald, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 24, with Rev. Justin Amsler, pastor of McDonald Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Robinson Run Cemetery, McDonald. The family suggests memorials be made to McDonald Presbyterian Church or the McDonald Food Bank.
