Robert Henry Zombeck

Robert  Henry “Bob” Zombeck Sr., 66, of Oakdale, died Saturday, February 10, 2018 in Kane Regional Medical Center, Scott Township.

He was born Jan 11, 1952 in Canonsburg, a son of the late Henry and Gladys (Daudet) Zombeck.

Mr. Zombeck was a graduate of Fort Cherry High School, and served in the U.S. Army.

He was self-employed and worked in the construction field.

Surviving are a daughter, Anita Kinney of Southview; a son, Robert “Bob” H. Zombeck of Follansbee, WV; two sisters, Martha McAdams and Gayle Devere, both of Oakdale; two grandchildren, Jacquelyne Buchanan and Colten Zombeck; and a great grandchild, Eilidh Buchanan.

Friends will be received from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Nation Funeral Home, Inc., 220 E. Lincoln Ave., McDonald. Burial will take place at a time and place to be announced.
