Robert C. Wilbert, a beloved father and grandfather, passed away on October 19, 2024 in his home surrounded by his family at the age of 73. Born on December 8, 1950 in Pittsburgh, PA. Robert was a proud graduate of West Allegheny High School, class of 1969. He dedicated his professional life to the Boilermakers Local 154, where he worked as a journeyman and was known for his hard work, dedication, and commitment to his trade.

Robert found joy in many pursuits outside of his work. He had a deep appreciation for antiques, a passion for watching NASCAR and the Indianapolis 500, and enjoyed exploring flea markets. His love for classic cars was evident, and he took great pride in maintaining his yard, reflecting his dedication to both his home and his interests. He took pride in helping his family, and they always knew they could count on him. He will be missed immensely by them. 

He is survived by his loving daughter, Melissa S. (Richard) Cerciello of McDonald, two granddaughters, Alivia Cerciello and Katelyn (Trevor) DallaPiazza, who brought him immense joy, was incredibly proud of, and loved them both dearly, and two sisters, Susan L. Conn of McDonald and Mary Ann Petersen of California. In addition to the many nieces, nephews, and cousins who he loved dearly.

Robert was preceded in death by two brothers, Bill and Richard Wilbert, and seven sisters: Beverly Wilbert, Donna Nolan, Sandra Brown, Mary Lou Leadbitter, Betty Delaney, Patricia Kraft, and Jean McPhail. Their memories lived on in his heart.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and again from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Graff-Nation Funeral and Cremation Services, located at 218-220 East Lincoln Ave., McDonald, PA. The funeral service will take place the following day, Thursday, October 24, 2024, at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home.

Robert C. Wilbert will be remembered warmly by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His presence in their lives will be profoundly missed. His daughter will miss him a tremendous amount and can’t thank him enough for giving her a great life.
