Robert S. Ralston

Robert S. Ralston, 75, of McDonald died Saturday, August 28, 2021 in his home.

He was born May 31, 1946 in Candor; a son of the late Elwood and Dorothy (Strawn) Ralston.

Mr. Ralston was a steel worker at J&L in Aliquippa and retired from Home Depot, Bridgeville in 2008.

He was a member of the U.S.W.A., the S.N.P.J., the Midway Vets and the Burgettstown Vets.

Mr. Ralston enjoyed playing the lottery.

On August 19, 1965 he married Donna J. Gilbert, who survives.

Also surviving are a son, Robert S. (Elaine) Ralston Jr. of Springtown, TX; a daughter, Shelley R. (Harlan) Hayes of Midway; three grandchildren, Ben Ralston, Krystin Frye and Brianna Ralston; and a great granddaughter, Emilee Frye.

Deceased are a brother, Elwood T. (Jane of Burgettstown) Ralston; and two sisters, Mary Ralston and Kathryn Campbell.

The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Amedisys Hospice especially Trish Paige.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and from 6 to 8 pm Wednesday at Nation Funeral Home, Inc., 220 E. Lincoln Ave., McDonald; where services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, September 2, 2021.
