Richard David Dami

Richard David Dami, 67, of Mt. Pleasant Twp. died Sunday, September 14, 2014 at his home.

He was born October 4, 1946 in Southview, a son of the late Sereno and Mildred (Rolick) Dami.

Mr. Dami was a 1964 graduate of Canon McMillan High School and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

He worked as an over the road trucker most of his life.

Mr. Dami was an avid follower of youth and high school wrestling. He enjoyed golfing, NASCAR and loved to read. He will be sorely missed by his dog “Bubba”.

On May 28, 1983, he married Melissa Ann Lefebvre, who survives.

Surviving are four sons, Richard J. (Terri) Dami of Canonsburg, Ronald M. (Michele) Dami and Luke R. (Jamie Powell) Dami, both of Washington and Jason R. (Kim) Dami of Cecil;  four brothers, Albert "Sonny" (Mary) Dami of Canonsburg, Rudy (Sue) Dami of Washington, Raymond (Linda) Dami of McMurray and David (Mona) Dami of Las Vegas, NV; a brother-in-law, Jack (Mary) LeFebvre of Midway; a sister-in-law, Kathy (Wendell) Neely of Titusville; a special cousin, Peg Tepsic of McDonald; six grandchildren, Mark, R.J., Bryn, Linsey, Madison and Brandon Dami; and many nieces and nephews.

Deceased is a son, Rory L. Dami; and two nephews, Allen and Daniel Dami.

Friends will be received from 12 – 8 p.m. Wednesday at Nation Funeral Home, Inc., 220 E. Lincoln Ave., McDonald, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 19.
