Rebecca D. “Becky” Farmer, 63, of McDonald died Tuesday, November 15, 2011 in her home.
She was born December 29, 1947 in Pittsburgh the daughter of Marie Rose (Hutchinson) Fodse of McDonald and the late Lawrence M. Fodse.
Mrs. Farmer was a 1965 graduate of West Allegheny High School. She had worked as an office manager for Edmonds Trucking, McDonald and Waverly Oil, Noblestown. Most recently she worked as a loan officer for Washington Mutual before retiring.
She was a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church in McDonald where she had been a Bible Study leader and a volunteer in the Nursery School. She loved camping and fishing with her husband at their camp in Pymatuning. Most recently, she was the care giver for her mother.
On March 15, 1969, she married Lincoln Wesley Farmer who died June 14, 2010.
Surviving in addition to her mother are a brother, Lawrence W. (Katy) Fodse of Swanboro, NC; a sister, Kathleen R. Cimarolli of Lawrence; a niece, Gwen (Mark) Hibbs; two nephews, Anthony Cimarolli and Nicholas Cimarolli; a great niece, Sarah Hibbs; and a great nephew, Jackson Hibbs.
