Ralph "Joe" Snider

Ralph E. “Joe” Snider, 76, of McDonald, Cecil Township, died Monday, September 11, 2017.

Mr. Snider was born July 8, 1941 in Hundred, WV. He is the son of the late Lloyd and Mary (Farrell) Snider.

On December 30, 1966, he married Gladys Scott who died on July 18, 2005.

Mr. Snider was a graduate of Hundred High School in WV. He then worked for Weirton Steel as a foreman on the railroad for over 30 years before retiring in 1994.

He enjoyed woodworking, hunting, fishing and gardening.

Surviving are two daughters, Jodi (James) Reed of Cranberry Township and Mary Jo (Tim) Sziminski of Weirton, WV; one son, Jason E. (Nicole) Snider of Canonsburg; a brother, Gary L. (Patsy) Snider of Paden City, WV; a sister in-law Karen Snider of Hundred WV; eight grandchildren, Rachel (Brenden) Bongiorni, Zachary, Logan and Cameron Bertolotti, Tiffanie (Chris) Warrick, Alyssa Sziminski, Gunner Faure and Nolan Snider; four step-grandchildren, Luke and Gabrielle Reed and Tim and Stephanie Sziminski; and a great-grandchild, Camden Batterby.

Deceased is a brother, Neil W. (Karen) Snider.
