Philip E. "Uncle Phil" Walker

September 28, 1952 — April 18, 2024

Philip E. “Uncle Phil” Walker, age 71 of Bulger, formerly of Southview, passed Thursday, April 18, 2024.

He was born September 28, 1952 in Canonsburg; a son of Ruth Thompson.

Phil was a graduate of Fort Cherry High School class of 1972. He worked as a laborer for Union Forge where he made mine bolts for the coal companies.

Phil had a passion for music. He loved playing the drums. He was the drummer in several local bands such as, North Star Band, Electric Hardware Band, and the Hedgg Band to name a few. Phil was very outgoing. He never complained and was always smiling. He also enjoyed gardening. Every year he planted his yearly flowers.

Surviving is a daughter, Laura Walker; five siblings, Toni, Rebecca, Norma, Robert, and Bobby; his companion, Yvonne Harvey.  He also has many nieces and nephews.

Deceased are a sister, Dalphine, and three brothers, Nathan, Bobby, and Chuckie.

All funeral services are private, However, A Celebration of Phil’s life will take place on Friday, May 3, 2024 at 6PM at the Mouse Trap Bar and Grill, 9212 Steubenville Pike, Bulger, PA 15019 and a Memorial Picnic will be announced at a later date. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Graff-Nation Funeral and Cremation Services LLC.
