Paul B. Evers, 86, of Bulger, died Monday, October 3, 2011 at Sewickley Valley Hospital
He was born December 8, 1924 in Pittsburgh, the son of the late Paul B. and Clara P. (Peterson) Evers Sr.
Mr. Evers served in the United States Navy during World War II.
He was a graduate of Mt. Lebanon High School and earned a degree at Carnegie Tech. He worked as an industrial engineer at Pittsburgh Forging Company for 40 years before retiring in 1986.
Mr. Evers was a member of the Midway United Methodist Church, a member of Whitehall Lodge #684 F. & A.M., Dormont, a member of the Scottish Rite, Valley of Pittsburgh and a member of the National Rifle Association.
On April 6, 1968, he married Linda L. Smith, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Todd P. (Vicki J. Jones) Evers of Burgettstown and Jason C. (Debbie) Evers of Oakdale; and two granddaughters, Mackenzie and Delaney Evers.
Friends will be received from from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, October 7 at Nation Funeral Home, Inc., 220 E. Lincoln Ave., McDonald, where services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 8 with Rev. Robert James of Midway United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Allegheny Memorial Cemetery, Allison Park. The family suggests memorials be made to Midway United Methodist Church, 104 Jefferson St., PO Box 566, Midway, PA 15060 or to Heritage Public Library, 54 4th St., McDonald, PA 15057.
