Olive D. (Prevost) Piazza
February 17, 1924 — March 5, 2012
Olive D. Piazza, 88, of McDonald, died Monday, March 5, 2012 in St. Clair Memorial Hospital, Mt. Lebanon.
She was born February 17, 1924 in Mt. Pleasant Township, a daughter of Alex and Annie M. (Worstell) Prevost.
Mrs. Piazza was a member of McDonald Presbyterian Church, where she had helped with the Kitchen Committee at Calvary Center. She was an active member of McDonald-Cecil, Midway, Oakdale and Imperial Senior Citizen Centers and enjoyed playing cards and doing word search puzzles. She was fond of cats and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
On March 18, 1944, she married Warren D. Piazza, who died April 5, 1998.
Surviving are a son, Warren J. DallaPiazza of Cecil; a daughter, Gina L. (Mike) Ooghe of Canonsburg; three grandchildren, Anthony (Amy) DallaPiazza, Angela DallaPiazza and Christa (Ryan) Unik; two great grandchildren, Dominic and Dante DallaPiazza: and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are five brothers, William, Desirie, Art, Merle and Ronald Prevost; and a sister, Norma Fye.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at Nation Funeral Home, Inc., 220 East Lincoln Avenue, McDonald. Friends and family will meet at Calvary Center of McDonald Presbyterian Church, 202 West Lincoln Avenue, on Friday, March 9th for services to be held at 11:00 a.m. with Rev.
