Nedra Jean (Stevenson) Ursitz

Nedra Jean Ursitz, 63, of McDonald, died Sunday, January 31, 2016 at her home.

She was born February 15, 1952 in McDonald, the daughter of the late Robert "Shorty" and Roberta (Willard) Stevenson.

Mrs. Ursitz was a homemaker.

She was a member of the Fort Cherry Quarterback Club, a former member and President of the Fort Cherry P.T.A., where she was actively involved from 1988 until 2005. She also was very active in many of the youth sports organizations in the community.

Mrs. Ursitz  enjoyed camping and fishing, was an avid reader, and liked gardening.

On October 5, 1974, she married Louis T. Ursitz, who survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Jessica L. Ursitz of McDonald and Maddie E. (Jason Spraitz) Ursitz of Eauclaire, WI; a son, Louis R. Ursitz of McDonald;  two sisters, Kathy (Bud) Csuhta  and Ruth (Dale) Merchant, both of Imperial; and one brother, Chan Charlier of McDonald.

Deceased is a brother, Lou Charlier.

Friends will be received from 2 – 4 and from 6 – 8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at Nation Funeral Home, Inc., 220 E. Lincoln Ave., McDonald, where a Blessing Service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Friday, February 5, 2016. Burial will follow in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
