Myrtle Lee Zimmerman

Myrtle Lee Zimmerman, 80, of McDonald, died, Saturday, December 3, 2016.
She was born July 1, 1936, the daughter of the late Frank and Bertha (Boocks) Zimmerman.
Miss Zimmerman was a graduate of Fort Cherry High School, did her undergraduate studies at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and received a Masters in Business Education.
She taught business at Fort Cherry High School for 16 years before her retirement.
Miss Zimmerman loved music. She played several instruments and enjoyed singing. She remembered attending services, in her childhood, as a Sunbeam of the Salvation Army.
Surviving are her best friend, Dolores Ammons of McDonald; and several cousins.
Friends will be received on Friday, December 9, 2016 at Nation Funeral Home, Inc., 220 E. Lincoln Ave., McDonald, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., the time of services, with Rev. Dennis Lawrence, pastor of Independent Bible Presbyterian Church, McDonald, officiating. Burial will be in Robinson Run Cemetery, McDonald.
