Mildred Grace (Crafton) Agnew

Mildred Grace Agnew, of Houston, formerly of McDonald, passed away Saturday, December 31, 2016 in her home, surrounded by her family.

She was born in Jefferson County, the daughter of Victoria and Walter Crafton.

Mrs. Agnew was a loving and devoted mother, skilled homemaker, and kind friend to many. For most of her life, she worked from home as a talented seamstress, baker and caregiver. She was lovingly known as Mimi to the many children she cared for in her home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Norman, and beloved son Tracy. Also deceased are three sisters, Mary Loftus, Dorothy DiFatta and Helen Williams; and three brothers, Edward, Leo and William Crafton.

Mrs. Agnew is survived by her daughter, Sandra (Scot) Gump; cherished grandsons, Tanner, Spencer and Tucker Gump, all of Houston; a sister, Betty (Dale) Shaffer; and nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at Nation Funeral Home, Inc., 220 E. Lincoln Ave., McDonald on Monday, January 2, 2017 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., the time of services.
