Maureen Erin Delaney, 42, of Sturgeon, died Tuesday, September 27, 2011.

She was born September 20, 1969 in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Robert E. and Mary E. (Phelan) Nagel.

Mrs. Delaney was a 1987 graduate of Carlington High School.

She had worked as an office manager for Frank Gates, Pittsburgh and worked part time for K-Mart, Robinson Township.

On September 18, 1993, she married Brian Jules Delaney, who survives.

Also surviving are three sons, Nicholas Jules, Timothy Daniel and Connor William Delaney, all at home; three sisters, Diane (Don) Muraco of Upper Saint Clair, Louise (John) Jameson of Pittsburgh and Joan “Rosey” (T.J.) Gielarowski of South Fayette Township; six brothers, James Nagel of Greentree, John (Patty) Nagel of Mt. Lebanon, Thomas (Suzanne) Nagel of Carnegie, David (Jennifer) Nagel of Castle Shannon, Joseph and Peter (Michelle) Nagel, both of Crafton; two brothers-in-law, Craig (Becca) Delaney and Keith (Heather) Delaney, both of Sturgeon; a father-in-law, Hector (Debbie) Delaney of Sturgeon; a mother-in-law, Beth (Bill) Harford of Pittsburgh; a step mother-in-law, Nancy (Rick) Faulkner of McDonald; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Deceased are two brothers, Robert Edward Nagel Jr. and Daniel “Corkey” Nagel.

Friends will be received Thurs. 7-9 pm and Fri 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Nation Funeral Home, Inc. 220 E. Lincoln Ave., McDonald.  A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 1 at St. Patrick R.C. Church, 7322 Noblestown Rd., Oakdale.  Burial will follow in Christ the Redeemer Cemetery, Pittsburgh.  Online condolences, photos and additional information are available at www.nationfuneralhome.com.
