Mary Beth (Lanz) Kerr

Mary Beth Lanz Kerr, 72 of Bulger, passed Wednesday, June 05, 2024, surrounded by her family, following a lengthy battle with COPD.

She was born August 3, 1951 in Pittsburgh; a daughter of Robert and Garnet Feldman Lanz.

Mary Beth was a graduate of Peters Twp. High School, class of 1969. She was one of the first EMT’s in the area. She then worked for multiple insurance companies as a Medical Claim Specialists. She retired in 2019.

Mary Beth was a member of The First Baptist Church of Midway, she loved to sew, even make her own clothing. She enjoyed building puzzles, playing games on her tablet, reading, and spending time with her family.

Surviving are three children Terry L. (Susan) Kerr of Friendsville, MD, Christopher R. Kerr of Emmett, ID, and Anthony R. (Gina Kokoskie) Kerr od Bulger; six siblings, Robert (Sharon) Lanz of Ligonier, PA., Patricia (David)Shepley of Venetia PA., Christopher Lanz of North Strabane Twp., Joan (Mark) Angus of Gahanna, OH., Jay (Lynn) Lanz of Lynchburg, VA., Joel (Pam) Lanz of Binghamton, NY.; five grandchildren, Christopher and Tyler Kerr, Taylor Hackney, Robert Kerr, and Ryann Kerr, and Many nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends on Friday, June 7, 2024 from 2-4 and 6-8PM at Graff-Nation Funeral and Cremation Service LLC. 220 E. Lincoln Ave. McDonald, PA. 15057. Services will take place immediately following visitation at 8PM on Friday. Memorial contributions are suggested to First Baptist Church of Midway, PO Box 545 Midway, PA.  15060.
