Maryann (Margerum) Crowe

Maryann Crowe, 77, of Oakdale, passed away, Thursday, November 16, 2017.

She was born April 16, 1940 in McDonald; a daughter of Henry and Ora (Chambond) Margerum.

Mrs. Crowe was a compassionate nurse for over 50 years. She last worked for Mt. Lebanon Manor where she retired in 2012.

She was a member of McDonald Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed playing softball in her youth but recently she was an avid Bowler, Golfer.

On March 4, 1972, she married James R. Crowe Jr., who survives.

Also surviving in addition to her husband are three sons, Robert R. (Dina) Dye Jr. of Monroeville, Gary Margerum of Middletown and Phillip Margerum of McDonald; a brother, Shannon Margerum of Midway; six grandchildren, Ella and Mackenzie Dye, Kayla, Mackenzie, Terry and Paige Margerum.

Deceased are two brothers; Henry Jr. and John Margerum.

Family will receive friends from Noon – 5 p.m. Sunday November 19, 2017 at Nation Funeral Home Inc., 220 E. Lincoln Ave., McDonald. Family and friends will meet at McDonald Presbyterian Church, 119 Station St., McDonald for services at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 20, 2017 with Rev. Justin Amsler officiating. Inurnment will take place at a later date in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
