Mary E. (Conquest) Valent

Mary E. Valent, 93, of Jacksonville, FL, formerly of McDonald, died Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at her home.

She was born October 2, 1924 in Shoals, IN, a daughter of the late Robert M. and Sallie C. (Fields) Conquest.

Mrs. Valent was a homemaker.

She enjoyed sewing, cooking and baking.

On March 2, 1945, she married Angelo C. Valent, who died July 20, 2008.

Surviving are a daughter, Sharon C. Dingle of St. Johns, FL; four grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

Deceased are a son, Ronald E. Valent; three brothers, Clarence, Charles and Claude Conquest; and two sisters, Frances Demars and Blanche Norris.

Friends will be received Saturday, September 22, 2018 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm, the time of a Blessing Service at Nation Funeral Home, Inc., 220 E. Lincoln Ave., McDonald, with Rev. Ben Vaghetto, pastor of St. Patrick R.C. Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Robinson Run Cemetery, McDonald. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Alzheimer's and Dementia Research, 1100 Liberty Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15222.
