Mary C. (Mckay) Gossett

Mary C. Gossett, 77, of McDonald, died Thursday, December 1, 2016.
She was born March 6, 1939 in Oakdale, a daughter of the late Clarence and Catherine Henwood McKay.
Mrs Gossett was a sales clerk for Scio China in Hankey Farms, North Fayette Township for over 8 years.
She enjoyed crocheting and loved spending time with her family.
On May 8, 1965, she married George I. Gossett, who died August 23, 2009.
Surviving are six children, Tina (Bill) Ewing of West Mifflin, John T. (Char) Gossett of Crafton, Lisa Fisher of Washington, Brenda (Sidney) Matthews of West Finley, Dave (Donna) Hertzler of McDonald, and Dale (Diane) Hertzler of McDonald; three sisters, Margaret Schultz of Slovan, Judy (Butch) Derosky of Florida and Bonnie (Charles) Vincent of Toronto, OH; three brothers, John McKay of McDonald, Clarence (Georgia) McKay of Coraopolis, and James McKay of Toronto, OH; eleven grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a sister, Elizabeth Goonen; and two brothers, Robert McKay and Buzz Veneleck.
Family will receive friends on Monday, December 5, 2016 from 1-8 p.m. at Nation Funeral Home Inc., 220 E. Lincoln Ave., McDonald, where services will take place Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
