Marlene "Jeannie" Dixon

Jeannie Dixon age 66, of Heidelberg, passed unexpectedly Monday, November 28, 2022.

She was born May 27, 1956 in Pittsburgh; a daughter of Theresa “Terri” Bilenski Leslie of Oakdale, and the late Charles H. Leslie.

Mrs. Dixon was a certified nurse assistant at Canterbury Place in Pittsburgh where she worked for many years before she became an independent home health provider for many local families.

Jeannie enjoyed playing online games on her phone, watching movies, catching up on her soap operas, listening to Elvis Presley, bowling, playing bingo, lunch dates with her mom, sister Terri and daughter Megan. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to her mother are two daughters, Donna Goss of Moon Twp., and Megan (Tom Nelson) Werner of Bridgeville; two sisters Patti Ann (Tom) Glenn of Rock Hill, SC., and Terri Louise (Larry) Scott of McDonald; a brother Charles Walter (Marjie) Leslie Jr; nine grandchildren, Shawn and Skyler Connor, Taylor Czarnecki, Ryder and Jaxon Nelson, Cameron Breonna, Rayden, and Hayleigh Werner; two great grandchildren; Dakota Czarnecki, and Marik Connor. As well as several nieces and nephews.

Deceased is her son John Werner and the love of her life, John Sirak.

A memorial gathering will take place on Friday, December 9, 2022 from 12-1PM at Nation Funeral Home Inc. 220 E. Lincoln Ave. McDonald, PA. 15057. A memorial service will take place immediately following the memorial gathering at 1PM.
