Marlene B. (Brockman) Carroll

Marlene B. Carroll 77, of Scottsdale, AZ, formerly of Midway and Ben Avon, died Sunday September 25, 2016.
She was born June 7, 1939 in Pittsburgh a daughter of Thomas and Goldie (Hampson) Brockman.
Mrs. Carroll was a member of Center U.P. Church in Midway. She loved shopping in Sugarcreek, OH and spending time with her family and friends. She alsoplayed a mean game of Texas Hold’em.
On December 12, 1959, she married John W. Carroll, who died December 22, 2013.
Surviving are two daughters, Kelly Lynn Rossi of Scottsdale, AZ. and Leann (Jeffrey) Steele of Denver CO; a son Thomas (Christa) Carroll of Midway; a sister Darla (Vincent) Romano of Midway; six grandchildren, Alan (Cynthia) Rossi, Sean and Allison Steele, Emma Smith, Rachel and Sydney Carroll; and a great grandson Leo Rossi.
She is preceded in death by a sister, Jodi Brockman Rice and a brother Thomas Keith Brockman.
Family will receive friends Sunday October 2, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Nation Funeral Home Inc. 220 E. Lincoln Ave., McDonald, where services will take place at 12 Noon, Monday, October 3, 2016. Interment will follow at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. Family suggest memorial contributions be sent to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St. Phoenix, AZ 85014.
