Marie Edna (Spencer) Scarfo

Marie Edna Scarfo, 90, of McDonald, died Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Canonsburg General Hospital.
She was born November 9, 1926 in Southview, a daughter of the late John and Edna Spencer.
Mrs. Scarfo was a homemaker.
She was a member of Venice Presbyterian Church and loved to read her bible.
On April 28, 1947, she married Nicholas Scarfo, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Tammy (Jamie) Till of Burgettstown; two sons, John (Kim) Scarfo of Follensbee, WV and Randy (Dianna) Scarfo of Brilliant, OH; two sisters, Gretta Gillespie of McDonald and Lois (Robert) Crawford of Houston; eight grandchildren, John (Paula) Scarfo, Robby (Shannon) Scarfo, Matthew Scarfo, Mark Scarfo, Dallas Scarfo, Nicole Scarfo, Jessica (Adam) Hritz, and Thomas (Erica) Shanahan; and seven great grandchildren, Brooke, Allie, Paige and Nick Scarfo, Valentyna and Declan Hritz and Harlow Shanahan.
Deceased are two brothers, Robert Spencer and Buddy Hendal; and two sisters, Bertha Carothers and Jean Owens.
Friends will be received from 12 – 3 and from 5 – 8 p.m. Sunday at Nation Funeral Home, Inc., 220 E. Lincoln Ave., McDonald.
