Margaret Jean (Campbell) Rudy Tucker

Margaret Jean Rudy Tucker, 95, of McDonald, died Saturday, August 11, 2018 in her home.

She was born November 17, 1922 in Midway a daughter of the late James W. and Elizabeth (Sherman) Campbell.

Mrs. Tucker was a 1940 graduate of Midway High School. She worked as a Clerk for the former G.C. Murphy Co. in McDonald, for the former Ames Department Store in Robinson Township and for the former Ideal Cleaners in McDonald. She retired in 1995.

She was a member and Past President of the American Legion Auxiliary Post #485, McDonald, a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary Post #567, McDonald and a member of Center U.P. Church, Midway.

On March 20, 1959, she married Gilbert S. “Bee” Tucker, who died November 21, 2006.

Surviving are three sons, Gilbert V. (Bonnie) Tucker of Chandler, AZ, C. Thomas (Patty) Rudy of Bulger and Jon S. (Kim) Tucker of Tridelphia, WV; two daughters, W. Jeanne (Daniel) Matlack of Imperial and Brenda L. (Nolan) Vance of Bavington; 11 grandchildren and many great and great great grandchildren.

Deceased are six brothers, Thomas, Richard, James, Owen, Clark and Ralph Campbell; and six sisters, Stella Sawhill, Rebecca Kargle, Zoe Pounds, Irma Bell, Elizabeth Davis and Leah Peck.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and from 6-7:30 p.m. (the time of services) Thursday at Nation Funeral Home, Inc., 220 E. Lincoln Ave., McDonald with the Rev. Brian Kilbert, pastor of Center U.P.
