Margaret “Peggy” Corbett Pelc, 64, of McDonald, Cecil Twp., went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 as the result of a tragic house fire.
She was born January 24, 1950 in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late James and Anne (McCarthy) Corbett.
Mrs. Pelc worked for the Army Corp. of Engineers as an Administrative Assistant, retiring in 2003. She loved the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Pittsburgh Penguins.
On May 7, 1977, she married Stephen M. Pelc, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Geoffrey Martin Pelc of McDonald, and Jason Andrew Pelc of Cleveland, OH; three brothers, Frank Corbett of MO, Patrick and James Corbett, both of Pittsburgh; and a sister, Anna Mary Giannuzzi of Pittsburgh.
Deceased are two brothers, William and John Corbett.
Friends will be received from 2 - 9 p.m. Sunday at Nation Funeral Home, Inc., 220 E. Lincoln Ave., McDonald. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 10 at St. Alphonsus R.C. Church, McDonald. Burial will follow in Robinson Run Cemetery, McDonald.
