Margaret Jane Love, 81, of McDonald, died Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at Center for Compassionate Care of Mt. Lebanon.
She was born July 4, 1930 in McDonald, a daughter of the late Herbert R. and Margaret (Hadden) Jamison, Sr.
Mrs. Love was a 1948 graduate of McDonald High School and worked as a typist for the Pittsburgh Credit Bureau until November of 1964.
She was a Sunday School Teacher for 40 years at Calvary Presbyterian Church, McDonald and currently was a member of Iron’s Memorial Presbyterian Church, McDonald.
On November 27, 1958, she married Nelson Edgar Love, who died on January 3, 1996.
Surviving are a son, Thomas N. (Jodi) Love of McDonald; a daughter, Marjorie L. (Chuck) Leslie of McDonald; a brother, H. Russell (Laverne) Jamison of McDonald; a sister, Mary A. Stewart of Americus, KS; and five grandchildren, Melissa, Amanda, Matthew and Anthony Love, and Abigail Leslie.
Deceased are two brothers, James H. and Frank W. Jamison.
Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Nation Funeral Home, Inc., 220 East Lincoln Ave., McDonald, where services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 21 with the Rev. Charles Puff officiating. Burial will follow in Robinson Run Cemetery, McDonald. The family suggests memorials be made to a charity of one's choice.
