Marcel F. “Mark” Rocher

Marcel F. “Mark” Rocher age 94, of McDonald, Cecil Twp. passed on Wednesday, February 23, 2022.

He was born November 21, 1927 in Midway; a son of Marcelin and Camilla Samuel Rocher.

Mr. Rocher was a graduate of Midway High School and then served in the United States Army.

Marcel was an Owner operator truck driver driving coal from local mines to power plants.

On September 4, 1948, he married Roberta Jean Glass, who passed on May 8, 2006.

Mr. Rocher enjoyed traveling to Florida, Texas, and Oregon in his Motorhome. He also belonged to several camping clubs and enjoyed meeting fellow campers.

Surviving are three sons, David (Donna Dumont) Rocher of McDonald, Donald (Gaylan) Rocher of Texas, and Thomas Rocher of Oregon and one grandson.

Deceased is a sister Rosemarie Rocher.

Family will receive friends on Monday, February 28, 2022 from 6-8PM at Nation Funeral Home Inc. 220 E. Lincoln Ave. McDonald, PA. 15057; where services will take Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at 11:00AM.
