Lynn (Schuster) Brant

Lynn Brant, 66, of McDonald died Saturday, July 7, 2012 at McMurray Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, McMurray.

She was born December 9, 1945 in Long Island, NY, a daughter of the late Howard and Edna (Henne) Schuster.

Mrs. Brant was a 1963 graduate of Baldwin High School and in 1967 earned a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary and Special Education from Clarion University.

She had a passion for teaching children and for 23 years taught pre-school at the McDonald Methodist Church before retiring in 2001.

Spending time with her family and friends was an important part of Mrs. Brant life.  She loved going to the beach and spent many years vacationing with her family in Aruba.

On July 18, 1970, she married Blair E. Brant, who survives.

Also surviving are a daughter, Terri-Lynn Brant of Downingtown; and a brother, Kenneth Schuster of FL.

Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday and from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Nation Funeral Home, Inc., 220 E.
