Louise G. (Gallagher) Young

Louise G. Young, 95, of McDonald died Thursday, December 18, 2014 at her home.
She was born April 28, 1919 in Pittsburgh, the daughter of the late Stephen and Louella (Kerns) Gallagher.
On May 19, 1968, she married Forrest J. Young, who died August 7, 1988.
Mrs. Young worked as a secretary for Florida Gas for 20 years before retiring in 1975.
She enjoyed shopping and spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are a daughter, Barbara E. (Raymond K.) Forsyth of McDonald; a brother, Paul Gallagher of Lancaster, OH; three grandchildren, Jennifer Lander, Kimberly and Christopher Forsyth; and four great grandchildren, Candice Druga, Maura, Elizabeth and William Lander.
Deceased are three brothers, Joseph, James and Robert Gallagher; and a sister, Margaret Teets.
Friends will be received from 2 – 8 p.m. Monday, December 22 at Nation Funeral Home, Inc., 220 E. Lincoln Ave., McDonald. A viewing will be held beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 27 at St. Hugh Catholic Church, 3460 Royal Road, Miami, FL where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. under the direction of Van Orsdel Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Park Cemetery, Miami, FL.
