Lisa Marie Linkish

Lisa Linkish, 45, of Midway, died Thursday, November 3, 2016 in Allegheny General Hospital.

She was born April 27, 1971 in Washington, a daughter of Kenneth C. “Beau” and Bette Gay (Openbrower) Linkish, of Midway.

Lisa was a Graduate of Fort Cherry High School. She worked in Hotel Management for Red Roof inn and Amerisa Suites before becoming a Customer Sales Rep for Rotech Health Care in Pittsburgh. She also worked part time as a bartender at the Midway V.F.W. Post #520.

Lisa’s smile and laugh were contagious to all. She loved her nieces and nephews, even taking them on vacation to numerous places during a week.  She loved helping others, during their time of need, by volunteering to help with charitable benefits.

Surviving in addition to her parents are a sister, Carla (Edwin Jay) Mohney of Midway; a brother, Kenneth P. (Sylvia Sims) Linkish of Canonsburg; six nieces and nephews, Tiffany, Haley and James Patrick Caldwell, Ethan Nathanial Linkish,  Peyton and Bryson Mohney;  and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Family will receive friends Sunday, November 6, 2016 from 1-8 p.m. at Nation Funeral Home Inc., 220 E. Lincoln Ave., McDonald, where we will celebrate her life on Monday, November 7, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Center Cemetery, Midway.
