Lindsay P. Lis, 39, of Burgettstown, died Wednesday, January 8, 2020, in U.P.M.C. Presbyterian.
She was born September 4, 1980 in Victoria, TX; a daughter of Robert P. (the late Becky) Bosco of Brazoria, TX and Alison (Jason) Law-Ketter of Pittsburgh.
Lindsay was an Iraq war veteran where she served in the United States Army.
She was an operations supervisor for 7 years at Beaver County Transit Authority. Lindsay was also a Pampered Chef consultant.
On November 20, 2015, she married, Michael J. Lis, who survives.
Lindsay’s hobbies included riding quads. She loved spending time outdoors and was the rock of the family. She also was an organ donor, helping save lives.
Also surviving are two children, Corbin R. Harrison and Tegan R. Lis, both at home; a maternal grandfather, Bill “Peep” Law of Pittsburgh; one sister, Courtney (Dave) Cousins of McDonald; two brothers, Adrian Garcia and Robert Bosco, both of TX; a niece, Paige Cousins; and two nephews, David Cousins and Caleb Garcia.
Friends are welcome to celebrate the life of Lindsay on Sunday, January 19, 2020 at the S.N.P.J. Lodge 106, 255 W. Allegheny Rd., Imperial, PA 15126 between the hours of 2-6 pm. Inurnment will take place Monday, January 20, 2020 at 9:00 am in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Lis family in care of Nation Funeral Home Inc., 218 E. Lincoln Ave., McDonald, PA 15057.
