Lillian M. "Pat" (Fages) Bonnet

December 12, 1930 — July 30, 2021

Lillian Mae “Pat” Bonnet, 90, of McDonald died Friday, July 30, 2021 at Manor Care, McMurray.

She was born December 12, 1930 in Weirton, WV; a daughter of Albert and Martha (Kukulska) Fages.

Mrs. Bonnet worked as a bookkeeper first for Ackerman Boilers and later for Oliverio Buick in McDonald, where she worked for 25 years before retiring in 1992.

She was a member of St. Isidore the Farmer parish in McDonald and was a C.C.D. 2nd Grade Teacher at St. Alphonsus for 20 years. She was also a member of the church choir and the Blue Army. She was a volunteer for St. Vincent de Paul and for the McDonald Meals on Wheels. She was a member of the McDonald Women’s Club and the McDonald Garden Club. She also was a former Cub Scout Den Leader.

Mrs. Bonnet loved crossword puzzles, playing the piano, playing cards and cooking for her family who were her pride and joy.

On May 15, 1954 in McDonald, she married Adrien W. “Babe” Bonnet, who died March 27, 2011.

Surviving are two sons, Dr. Christopher (Sandra) Bonnet of Canonsburg and Michael (Lisa) Bonnet of Eighty-four; six grandchildren, Michael (Jenn), Matthew (Audra), Cory (Jessica), Daniel (Courtney) and Kurt (Ariel) Bonnet, and Dr. Sarah (Dr. Joel) Palko; and nine great grandchildren, Jamie, Leah, Keegan, Charley, Gabriel, Peter, Gloria, Winston and Henry.

Deceased are a sister, Dolores Fages and a brother, Albert Fages.

Friends will be received from 2 to 8 pm Monday at Nation Funeral Home, Inc., 220 E. Lincoln Ave., McDonald. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at St. Isidore the Farmer Parish, St. Alphonsus worship site, McDonald. Burial will follow in Robinson Run Cemetery, McDonald. Memorial contributions are suggested to the McDonald Community Meals on Wheels.
