Lila Mae Turk, age 94 of McDonald, passed Sunday, November 17, 2024.

She was born April 6, 1930 in Midway; a daughter of Campbell and Gertrude Brockman Gilles.

Mrs. Turk was a McDonald High School graduate. She was a Bank Teller in her early years. She then worked for Olivero Buick as a Administrator for over 10 years.

On November 29, 1957 she married Gilbert F. Turk who passed on Jan 7, 1988.

Lila Mae was a devoted member of the McDonald Presbyterian Church where she served as a former Deacon, Elder and Sunday school teacher. She enjoyed ceramics, her Tuesday night Duck Pin Bowling league, Crocheting, crafting, and sitting on her porch.

Surviving is a daughter, Nancy Turk of McDonald; two brother in-laws, Richard (Georgie) Turk of Primrose and James Turk of Mt Pleasant Twp.; sister in-law, Carole (the late Roger) Turk of Southview and many nieces and nephews.

Deceased is a brother Donald (The late Edna) Gilles; a brother in –law, John (the late Anita) Turk.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 from 3-7PM at Graff – Nation Funeral and Cremation Service LLC. 220 E. Lincoln Ave. McDonald, PA. 15057; where services will take place Thursday, November 21, 2024 at 11:00AM. Interment will follow at Mt Prospect Cemetery in Hickory, PA. Memorial contributions are suggested to the McDonald Presbyterian Church 119 Station St. McDonald, PA. 15057.
