Lawrence J. “Larry” Worstell Jr.

Lawrence J. Worstell Jr. age 84, of McDonald, passed peacefully at home with family by his side, on Tuesday, November 19, 2024. 

He was born August 5, 1940 in McDonald; a son of Lawrence Sr. and Virginia M. Horner Worstell. 

Larry worked for Gilbert Construction in McDonald for over 30 years.  

On February 3, 1962, he married Eileen Marie Snatchko, who survives. 

Larry loved watching football and wrestling. He also loved spending time with his grandchildren and great -grandchildren. He was a hard worker and always provided for his family.

Surviving are five children, Gina M. Love of McDonald, John L. Worstell of Oakdale, Michael J. Worstell of McDonald, Dana L (John) Brown of Avella, and Larry J. (Marla) Worstell of Castle Shannon; a sister Anita Mottiqua; 15 grandchildren, Melissa Love, Amanda Zachry, Matt Cancilla Love, Anthony Love, Nicholas and Zachary Worstell, Ashlyn Brown, Dustin Henke, Christopher and Lynsee Brown, and Joshua, Ayden, Jesse, Lyla, and Malia Worstell; nine great-grandchildren.

Deceased is a sister Cheryl Raineri. 

Family will receive friends on Friday, November 22, 2024 from 11-1 and 3-5PM at Graff-Nation Funeral and Cremation Service, 220 E. Lincoln Ave. McDonald, PA. 15057. A service will take place immediately following visitation on Friday at 5PM. Interment will take place at Robinson Run Cemetery.
