Kenneth Wayne Fehl, 71, of McDonald, died Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at his home.
He was born February 23, 1941 in Primrose, a son of the late Harry and Mildred Fehl.
Mr. Fehl was a 1959 graduate of Fort Cherry High School and served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He was a member of the McDonald American Legion Post #485.
In 1964, following his service in the army, Mr. Fehl started Fehl Heating and Plumbing, which he owned and operated until retiring in 2010.
He enjoyed spending time with family and friends at the family cottage at Conneaut Lake.
On August 17, 1978, he married Rebecca Cass Fehl, who survives.
Also surviving are a step son, Darren Casper of McDonald; a step daughter, Shelly (James) Snowden of McKees Rocks; two sisters, Marlene Daniels of McDonald and Karen Duchess of Washington; and three grandchildren, Devin Casper, Rebecca and Jacob Snowden.
Deceased are two brothers, Carl and Harry Fehl; and a sister, Delores Kush.
Friends will be received on Monday, July 9th from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., the time of services, at Nation Funeral Home, Inc., 220 E. Lincoln Ave., McDonald, with Rev. Justin Amsler, pastor of McDonald Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will follow in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
