Kathryn L. (Multunas) Puskar

October 15, 1942 — July 8, 2016

Kathryn L. Puskar, 73, of Sturgeon, died Friday, July 8, 2016 at the Donnell House, Washington.

She was born October 15, 1942 in Pittsburgh, a daughter of Chester and Elizabeth (Fisher) Multunas.

Mrs. Puskar worked as a clerk for 25 years at the McDonald Pharmacy and then as a produce clerk for 25 years at the Giant Eagle in McDonald.

She was a member of St. Patrick R.C. Church, Noblestown.

Mrs. Puskar enjoyed playing the lottery, shopping and going out to eat. She loved spending time with and watching her grandsons grow up.

On September 4, 1964, she married Carl J. Puskar, who died June 21, 2000.

Surviving are a daughter, Barbara Weaverling of McDonald; a brother, Chester (Eileen) Multunas of Houston; two sisters, Gloria (John) Hans and Carol (Robert) Redlinger, both of Sturgeon; two grandsons, Thomas and Chad Weaverling; and a great grandson, Braydon Weaverling.

Deceased is a daughter, Karen Cain.

Friends will be received from 4 – 8 p.m. Sunday at Nation Funeral Home, Inc., 220 E. Lincoln Ave., McDonald, where a Blessing Service will be held at 8:00 p.m. with the Rev. Ben Vaghetto, pastor of St. Patrick Church, Noblestown, officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made on behalf of the family to Nation Funeral Home, Inc., 218 E. Lincoln Ave., McDonald, PA 15057.
