John William Robak
John W. Robak, 91, of Sturgeon, PA, passed away on January 8, 2022 surrounded by his family at St. Clair Hospital.
He was the son of the late Cecilia Evans Robak and the late Alexander Robak.
John was a partner in Protas Dental Laboratories where he worked until his retirement.
Throughout those years he and his brother Robert worked side by side beginning their commute on the trains to Pittsburgh and then via car.
John was the patriarch of the Robak family always holding the ties that kept everyone together. Many wonderful memories were made with his siblings, nieces and nephews over the years. During his lifetime, he enjoyed multiple forms of exercise, dancing, sports cars, and traveling.
John was always a lover animals, having multiple dogs throughout his lifetime until a cat landed on his doorstep. He loved his family dearly but his heart’s top spot was held by his cat Big Buddy. They were inseparable.
Special thanks to Ronald Totedo, family member, that went above and beyond in friendship and assistance to John.
John is survived by his sister Donna (Robak) Kapolka and his many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brothers Adam, Alexander, Henry, Joseph, Robert and his sisters Agnes, Anna, Helen, Frances, Mary, and Ruth.
All services are private. Interment will occur at a later date at Robinson Run Cemetery.
