John Henry Krocker

December 16, 1950 — November 7, 2015

John Henry “Krock” Krocker, 64, of Midway, died Saturday, November 7, 2015 at his home.

He was born December 16, 1950 in Pittsburgh, the son of Jane M. (Walnoha) Scholar of Bulger and the late Henry Charles "Herky" (Patricia L. McDermitt of South Fayette) Krocker.

Mr. Krocker was a graduate of Chartiers Valley High School and worked as Head of Maintenance until his retirement in 2006.

He was a lifelong member of the Huns Motorcycle Club, President of the Western Pennsylvania Bass Anglers, and a member of the Midway S.N.P.J.

Mr. Krocker was an avid fisherman and enjoyed motorcycles.

On March 6, 1976, he married Heather K. Thomson of Cecil, who survives.

Also surviving are three sons, Erik A. (Jessica) Krocker of Bulger, Shane J. (Mary) Krocker of McDonald and Dustin M. Krocker, both of McDonald; and six grandchildren, Cassie M., Erik W., Alexander W., Travis J., Emily K., and Brantley M. Krocker; and his companion, Cindy "Cricket" Lemley of Imperial.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at Nation Funeral Home, Inc., 220 E. Lincoln Ave., McDonald, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 11, 2015. The family requests memorial contributions are made to American Heart Association, 444 Liberty Avenue, Suite 1300, Pittsburgh, PA 15222.
