John William Hines, 64, of North Fayette Township died Thursday, January 21, 2021 at his home.
He was born January 22, 1956 in Pittsburgh; a son of Donald Hines of Oakdale and the late Lavone "Pat" (May) Hines
John served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1973 to 1977.
He retired from Mayview Sate Hospital as a psychiatric aide in 2008.
John enjoyed hunting and fishing and going to the family camp. He loved spending time with his grandchildren.
On October 18, 1980 he married Kathy Joan Tuminski, who survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife and father are a daughter, Heather (Erik Huart and Brandon Schrier) Hines of Midway; a son, John L. (Dana) Hines of Oakdale; three sisters, Linda Bruce, Shirley Olshinski and Lori Hines; a brother, David "Dubsey" Hines; five grandchildren Raelin, Addlyn, Weston, Maylah and Nova.
Deceased is a brother, Donald Hines.
